Years ago I had met a fellow persian and himalayan breeder that had got my interest going in producing these wonderful kittens. I have since met a great breeder friend that has helped me soo much. I cannot thank her enough. (Thank you Tami). She has been my support through all the smiles, laughter and tears. She has been my rock, someone I know I can trust and get advice from. We have so much in common from our love for persians to our pet dogs, as we both have shelties. Breeding is not always an easy road and there has been times I thought about giving up. But having a friend to lean on makes all the difference in the world. A second opinion is always nice too.

When I started I knew this was going to be just a hobby as it should be. So I have kept my program small and been picky about the cats I feel are good enough to produce. I love both the extreme faced and dollfaced (also known as "traditional face") persians. I am currently more focused on dollfaces as they are more prefered by many people because they are easier to care for and still have that wonderful persian personality. I hope someday they are recognized in CFA catshows as they were in the past. Although I am more focused on the dollfaces I do also have extremes. And although dollface cats lack the extreme nose I do still stick with the correct persian "type" Coby body, long hair, medium to large size, round deep copper eyes (persians), round blue eyes (himalayans) and green eyes (shadeds, chinchillas). Large smooth and round head, small and round ears. And the neverending laid back personality. I hope in my breeding program to match the correct male to the right female to achieve the kittens I desire in my breeding program so I carefully plan each litter.

I love each one of my cats and know their personalities. There is nothing like coming home to be welcomed and loved by a persian. They count on me and I count on them. They are first and foremost my pets and I would not do anything to jeoperdize their health. I work to support them, (my hobby) they do not support me.

Thank you to all that call and email to let me know how your Coppurrhills family member is doing. I love seeing the pictures no matter how long ago you got your kitten. It lets me see what my cats produce and how they turn out as adults. It is priceless to me to hear from you. Thank you!
